Wesleyan is currently supporting The Alzheimer’s Society, voted for by staff as their chosen Charity.

We will be working closely with The Alzheimer’s Society to raise as much money as possible in support of their vital work.

For three years prior to this (2006 to 2008) Marie Curie Cancer Care was the chosen Staff Charity and over £100,000 was donated to help with their excellent work.

This year we will continue to work with Marie Curie by sponsoring the annual 2010 Birmingham Brain Game, for the fifth consecutive year.

The Wesleyan Charity Advisory Committee is committed to engaging and supporting staff who take part in fundraising events, either in support of the chosen charity or their own personal choice and frequently match fund the amount raised by individual staff.

We have also donated to a range of other good causes including the BBC Children in Need appeal, Red Nose Day, Birmingham Children's Hospital, Acorns Children's Hospices, Duke of Edinburgh Awards, Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, Edwards Trust, St Basils, Dream Makers and many more.
