More ways to bank - access to your account online, by phone or by cash machines. Make it your choice how you access your savings.
With both our Classic Account and Privilege Account you can choose how to access your savings:
- You can use our free Internet Banking service
- You can also receive a VISA debit card, enabling you to withdraw money from any ATM displaying the VISA or Plus logo and make purchases at retail outlets worldwide
- Or, if you’d prefer, you can speak to one of our personal bankers, who are available 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday
Internet Banking
Internet banking lets you take control of your finances. Our service gives you 24-hour free access to your account (excluding the internet call cost).
This allows you to:
- Check your balance
- View and print your statements and transactions
- Transfer funds to your account at another UK bank
- Pay bills such as credit cards and utility bills
Online is also a user-friendly help facility to offer you online assistance as well as an e-mail and telephone contact facility should you need it.
Visa Debit Card
Our Visa debit card gives you 24 hour access to your savings through 645,000 cash machines and at over 21 million retail locations worldwide displaying the VISA or PLUS logo.
Telephone Banking
Check your balance, arrange withdrawals, make transfers between accounts and enquire about transactions on your account with our free telephone banking service. Our personal bankers are on call Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm.
At all other times you can leave a message on our telephone answering service and we will get back to you. So simply call us on 0800 358 1122.
For your security and to keep confirmation of your instructions all telephone calls are recorded.
Paying in
You can add to your Classic or Privilege Account whenever you want, by direct transfer from another bank account or we’ll provide pre-paid envelopes so you can send us your deposit by cheque.
