Pensions
Recently, radical changes have been announced to the NHS Pension Scheme for April 2008. This follows the ‘A-Day’ pension simplification changes that took place in April 2006.
Key developments for April 2008 are:
- Ability to buy Added Years will cease
- Removal of earnings cap for future use
- Tiered contribution levels based on four salary bandings
- Changes to tax-free lump sum calculation
- Brand new Pension Scheme for joiners
Our Financial Consultants can guide you through these changes and advise on any implications for your own retirement plans.
In addition, our no-obligation service can cover Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs), plus Personal and Stakeholder Pensions.
With such a large number of options, the choice can be overwhelming. You can contact your local Financial Consultant directly, call the number above or provide brief details of your enquiry and we can call you back.
