Doctors given advice on how to boost finances
Doctors and other medical professionals may be interested to hear of advice being offered by a national newspaper relating to the best ways in which people can boost their finances next year.
The Daily Mail set out five financial resolutions that it believes could benefit people and their money situations.
These included making changes to investment portfolios, using tax allowances, giving pensions "a boost", finding better savings accounts and sorting out debt.
The newspaper article mentioned ISA allowances as one thing to "take advantage of" before this tax year finishes.
It also mentioned looking carefully at inheritance tax liabilities.
