Doctors' careers service launched
A new careers service for doctors has been launched by the British Medical Association (BMA)
There will also be skills development workshops held around the country that focus on interview techniques, which is particularly relevant to junior doctors seeking training posts.
Ram Moorthy, chairman of the BMA junior doctors committee, said: "Existing careers service provision in the NHS is very patchy at a time when doctors' job security is threatened.
"There's increasing need for expert, independent, advice and coaching, which is what this new package offers."
Earlier this week, the BMA called on the Government to test "to destruction" any new junior doctor recruitment system.
