2008 Hockey Tournament

After the success of last year’s tournament, the Wesleyan Medical Sickness National Hockey Tournament is back! 

Our annual National Medics Hockey Tournament will happen this year at Cannock Hockey and Cricket Club (CHCC) in Staffordshire on Sunday 13th April. 

Last year, teams travelled from as far as Dundee and Southampton to take part in the tournament, which is a long-standing tradition of Wesleyan Medical Sickness, and continues to grow each year as more teams apply to take part. 

Congratulations to Liverpool Medical who won the trophy and Penninsular Medical who won the plate!

The event created a lively atmosphere and was a superb example of how we continue to support and enhance the medical students’ social experience on top of all of the educational work delivered in schools.

The Student Liaison Team are looking forward to welcoming all of this year’s participants and spectators and watching some closely fought battles on the pitches!

Plus, there will be prizes to win throughout the day, so start preparing your mascots!
