Trainee lawyers 'less concerned about job security'
Trainee lawyers may no longer worry as much about job security as they once did, an expert has implied.
Williams Johnson, spokesman for the Great Place to Work Institute, said being in a secure job is no longer the top priority for graduates, with brand identity being seen as more important.
"When they are looking for something they can identify with, it's very different than being concerned about job security," he said.
Adding that graduates tend to be from good universities, he explained that they do not need to worry about money because many of them can get jobs anywhere they choose.
According to a 2007 guide to the best places to work in the UK produced by Mr Johnson's company, 77 per cent of employees would like to stay with their business for a lengthy period of time.
