3. About our services and general information about the regulation of Financial Services
3.1 Wesleyan Assurance Society is a provider of life, pensions, protection and investment products.
3.2 Wesleyan Financial Services Limited provides an advisory service on a range of financial products and services including protection, savings, pensions and investment products from Wesleyan Assurance Society, plus a selection of products, including general insurance, from other providers.
3.3 Wesleyan Bank Ltd is a retail bank and provides a range of savings accounts, ISAs and unsecured personal and commercial lending.
3.4 Syscap Limited is a provider of business finance solutions, acting as a credit broker.
3.5 Syscap Leasing Limited is a provider of asset finance solutions, acting as a lender.
3.6 Wesleyan Unit Trust Managers Limited is an ISA and Unit Trust manager.
3.7 Practice Plan Limited is a provider of insurance mediation activities / dental membership plans and a credit broker.

The Financial Services Register is a public record of financial services firms, individuals and other bodies, which fall under its regulatory jurisdiction, as defined in the Financial Services & Markets Act 2000 (FSMA).
4.1 Further details of the products and advisory services available to you via Wesleyan Financial Services Limited are set out in the documents entitled 'about our services and costs' and 'a list of the companies and products we offer' (both available on request, please call 0800 092 1990 Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.30pm and Saturday 9.00am - 2.00pm).

8.1 Wesleyan Assurance Society is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to claim compensation from the scheme in the unlikely event that we cannot meet our obligations to you. This depends on the type of business we conduct with you and the circumstances of the claim. Further information about the compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS by visiting their website, by email or by writing to the FSCS at 10th Floor, Beaufort House, 15 St Botolph Street, London, EC3A 7QU.

9.1 Like other financial organisations, we are legally obliged to collect and record information confirming customer identity and to report details of suspicious transactions to the National Crime Agency (NCA).

14.6. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed as excluding or limiting the liability of Wesleyan for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for any other liability which cannot be excluded by English law.
14.7. Where you deal as a consumer, nothing in the above exclusions affects your statutory rights.
14.8. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or restrict our duties and liabilities to you under applicable law including, without limitation, the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the rules of the Financial Conduct Authority for the conduct of business and the Prudential Regulation Authority for the responsibility of the prudential regulation.
16.1. These Terms and Conditions (as amended from time to time) constitute the entire agreement between you and Wesleyan concerning your use of this Site and supersede any previous arrangement, agreement, undertaking or proposal, written or oral between you and Wesleyan in relation to such matters. Wesleyan reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. If it does so, the updated version will be effective as soon as it is uploaded on to this Site and your continued use of this Site will constitute your acceptance of such updated Terms and Conditions. 16.4. Wesleyan’s failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision unless acknowledged and agreed to by Wesleyan in writing.
16.5. Unless otherwise expressly stated, nothing in the Terms and Conditions shall create any rights or any other benefits whether pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise in favour of any person other than you and Wesleyan.
