New Student Finance help online

Advising students on their university and finance choices can be confusing, as a raft of new Government changes come into force. But teachers who support students with these decisions will soon receive a helping hand, as Student Finance England is launching a new set of online resources.

A website offering the most up-to-date official information, and details of changes to student funding, will be available to help teachers and advisers. The site also boasts videos, presentations, information sheets and downloadable key date guides for students.

Designed by Student Finance England, useful information will also be available to part-time students, students with disabilities and those with children.

Student finance consultant Andrew Shenton, from Student Finance England, said: "The changes to the student finance system next year are substantial and there's a lot of information out there about what this might mean.

"Our 15,000 partners across England are working really hard to make sure that the students they deal with have the right information to help them make their decisions."
