NEST publishes pension guidance

The NEST Corporation has published a new guide to help employers plan for the auto enrolment pension reforms in 2012.

It is hoped that the guide will pre-empt a lot of concerns and questions businesses have, while setting out what firms need to think over and take action on before the changes come into force.

Tim Jones, NEST Corporation chief executive, outlined how employers have been asking a variety of questions about NEST and the auto enrolment scheme.

Mr Jones hopes this new guide will help to alleviate the confusion and allow employers to move forward.

"To respond to these questions we've published a guide that sets out the core facts, as well as providing an overview of what NEST can do to help which we hope will help employers prepare," he said.

"NEST has been designed with 2012 in mind. We aim to make our processes as simple for employers as possible, whilst being flexible enough to work well for organisations large and small."
