Wesleyan launches new investment funds and auto-ISA

Wesleyan has launched three new investment funds to expand its offering to suit customers' changing needs.

The specialist financial mutual, which provides a range of advice and products to doctors, dentists, lawyers and teachers, has introduced the new range to give customers more choice of straightforward funds in distinct risk categories.

Previously, Wesleyan offered three of its own funds in its unit trust range. Now customers are able to access three additional new funds designed to fit a broader range of circumstances and risk appetites - Low, Moderate and Moderate-High - giving them a greater choice of clear, straightforward risk options.

The launch of a new Unit Trust Investment Account and a Unit Trust Junior ISA means the full range of funds will also be accessible for the first time across investment, ISA and JISA accounts.

Using the new Unit Trust Investment Account, customers can opt-in to automatically transfer units into an ISA each year to maximise their annual ISA allowance in a tax efficient way.

Meanwhile, the new Wesleyan Unit Trust Junior ISA will help customers save for their children in a tax efficient manner, with anyone being able to pay into them allowing grandparents and extended family and friends to contribute.

Clive Bridge, managing director for Life & Pensions at Wesleyan, said: "The combination of new products together with the three new funds means our customers can have easy access to the stock market, at different risk levels, through a straightforward fund range.

"Our customers have a wide range of reasons why they choose to invest with us, whether it's to buy a new home or to save for their children's future, and these new options will make it easier for them, when talking to one of our Financial Consultants, to choose the option that is best suited to their individual needs."

The value of investments and any income can go down as well as up and you may get back less than you invest.
