With Profits - Detailed Guides

Your reference guides to With Profit policies

Since 30 April 2004, all insurance companies issuing With Profits policies have been required to establish and maintain their 'Principles and Practices of Financial Management' (PPFM).

These documents provide further information for current and future With Profits policyholders by explaining, in greater detail than our short booklets, how we manage our With Profits business.

We have produced a different PPFM document for each of our two funds:

  • The Medical Sickness Society Fund for Medical Sickness Society policies purchased before our merger in July 1997
  • The Wesleyan Open Fund for all other policies

Changes will be made to these documents from time to time to reflect changes in the way that we operate our business.

We will notify policyholders in advance if we intend to make any changes to our principles.

We will also advise policyholders if we change our practices but may do so subsequently.

All of our PPFM documents are available as downloadable pdfs.

Documents are also available summarising any changes made.
