It will support registered charities as well as constituted voluntary and community groups based within the United Kingdom, we will only accept applications from organisations with incomes of less than £250,000.

How to apply for a grant

To apply for a grant, choose the area closest to where your charity operates from the table at the bottom of this page and click on the relevant link.

This will take you to the Community Foundation website for your area. From here, you'll be able to find out more about your local Community Foundation and all the information that you'll need to apply for a grant.

If you have any queries about the application process, please contact your local Community Foundation directly.

How your application will be assessed

The grants' panel from each Community Foundation meets at least four times a year to consider applications. The panel will consider your application to see if, in their opinion, it meets the objectives of the Wesleyan Foundation.

All applications will be acknowledged.

Unfortunately, it may not always be possible to support all applications even if they fully meet our criteria. The application window will differ by area and we advise you to contact your local foundation to confirm when these are for 2018.

We reserve the right to allocate our funds as best judged by the local Community Foundations and the application windows will vary depending on the individual foundations, we advise you contact your local Community Foundation directly should you have any questions.
