Meet Deepa

“I was able to just get on with recovering...with getting better.”

Deepa, a Child Psychiatrist, took out a Personal Income Protection Plan in 1993, the day she qualified as a doctor. In 2012 she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

How does income protection differ from other insurance products?

Income Protection provides a monthly benefit if illness or injury means you cannot follow your normal occupation. It can pay out for several successive claims.

Critical illness

Critical illness cover provides a lump sum on diagnosis of a pre-defined condition. This can be used for any purpose, such as to pay off your mortgage or adapt your home to assist with your changing requirements.

Life insurance

Life insurance pays out a lump sum and/or regular payments to loved ones on the death of the policyholder.

Wesleyan can offer both these products from a range of selected providers.
