Her Majesty The Queen will be officially opening Birmingham Dental Hospital and School of Dentistry on Thursday 19 November. Accompanied by His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, Her Majesty will be taken on a guided tour around the facilities.
The new hospital is the first stand-alone dental hospital and school to be built in the UK for almost 40 years.
The facilities, which have cost £50m to develop, have been built to benefit both university staff and more than 600 undergraduate and postgraduate students each year and will open for the public in early 2016.
