Report reveals stark difference in dental health between north and south of England
There is a divide in good dental health between northern and southern England, according to a new report published by the Nuffield Trust and the Health Foundation.

The report also highlights a gap between the dental health of the rich and poor, with deprived groups more likely to require hospital treatment and parents of children eligible for free school meals finding it harder to access a dentist.

However, overall dental health has been improving over time despite the amount of money spent on NHS dentistry being 15% lower than in 2010/11.
