Wesleyan supports new legislation for its annuity customers

We've recently partnered up with the UK's largest annuity-only broker, Retirement Line, to offer those of our customers who are looking to buy an annuity access to the most competitive rates in the market.

This comes hot on the heels of new Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) legislation that came into force in early Spring, meaning that all annuity providers now have to provide their customers with a 'best in market' comparison quote.

Chris Walklate, Senior Product Manager for Retirement at Wesleyan, explains why this new legislation is such a good outcome for our customers.

"Most people who are looking to buy an annuity with their pension savings qualify for an enhanced annuity due to health or lifestyle reasons.

"As we didn't offer enhanced annuities on our standard annuity product, our offering had become less economical once the new regulation came into force.

"With our new partnership with Retirement Line firmly in place, we're now able to refer our customers to the service if they're looking to buy an annuity on a non-advised basis. This means they can get the best outcome possible with the pension savings they have with us and any they may have with other providers".

Industry-leading service

Our customers are in safe hands with Retirement Line. Known as 'the best annuity broker on the market', the service boasts an impressive customer service Trustpilot score of 9.9/10!
