Our research shows that working practices are changing rapidly within the medical profession. Compared to our 2025 report, this year’s findings show us:
- 67% of doctors now hold multiple roles, up from 55%
- Working in private practice has increased from 26% to 43%
- Satisfaction remains high at 4.2/5, up from 4/5
- Doctors with multiple jobs expect to increase their earnings from an average of £93,982 to £147,916
Despite the positivity...
Three in five doctors have considered switching back to one role to:
- Reduce their workload (64%)
- Achieve more stability (57%)
- Avoid burnout (54%)
