Wesleyan shortlisted at the Property Awards 2025

Wesleyan’s Property team has been shortlisted at the Property Awards 2025 in the 'Developer of the Year – Offices' category. The shortlisting relates to Grange Park Cheltenham.
Grange Park is the second biggest asset in our circa £450m commercial property portfolio, making up approximately 10% of our With Profits Fund. The shortlisted nomination recognises the works that have been carried out at the site over the past 18 months.
Refurbishment with sustainability in mind
The works have included refurbishment of the main Grange building with the aim of 'reusing' rather than 'replacing' wherever possible. The Property team also wanted to ensure the highest levels of energy efficiency at this 1990s building, improving the overall 'E' rating to suites that now have the best 'A' rating.
Other works included complete removal of gas making the site 100% electric operated. It is served by a renewable energy tariff (reducing reliance on fossil fuels) and supplemented by solar panels that feed power to the common areas. The site also uses natural materials to help aid wellbeing for tenants who occupy it.
The adjacent onsite grade II listed Manor House has also been converted into a serviced office facility, supporting small businesses. Grange Park sits in 15 acres of parkland and outdoor works included the cultivation of the 100 protected trees, installation of bird boxes, allotments, bug hotels and pond areas.
A track record of recognition
This isn’t the first time the site has been recognised in this way. In November 2024, The Green Organisation awarded the Project a 'Green Apple Award' in the 'Property & Estate Management: Offices Habitat & Diversity' category.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for a win on 1 July.
