Member Moments prize draw

Introduction and Eligibility

1. Welcome to the Member Moments free prize draw. References to the “Prize Draw” shall be references to the Member Moments free prize draw.
2. This Prize Draw is being run and promoted by Wesleyan Assurance Society of Colmore Circus, Birmingham B4 6AR incorporated in England and Wales with company number ZC000145 (“Society”).  References to “we”, “us” and “our” shall be references to the Society.
3. The Prize Draw is free to enter and is open to individuals who meet the conditions for eligibility set out in condition 4 below. These individuals are referred to as "Qualifying Members".
4. To be a Qualifying Member for this Prize Draw you must be aged 18 years old or over and resident in the United Kingdom, and be:
   a) a member of the Society; or
   b) the holder of a Society With Profits policy.
   If you only hold a pension policy with the Society you are not a Qualifying Member.
5. Employees (and their immediate family members) of any of our group of companies who are directly involved with the administration or promotion of this Prize Draw and anyone professionally connected with this Prize Draw are not eligible to be entered into the Prize Draw. Immediate family members shall be deemed to include parents, spouses, siblings, children or household members. Board members and executive employees of any of our group of companies will also not be eligible to participate in the Prize Draw. 

Entry into the Free Prize Draw

6. Qualifying Members will be entered into the Prize Draw as follows:
   a) You will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw if you are already opted in to receive marketing from us.
   b) Where you are not opted in to receive marketing from us, you will need to opt in to participate in this Prize Draw. You can opt in here. 
   If you wish to opt out of participating in this Prize Draw you can do so here at any time: opt out here.
7. Where we have commenced the administration of one of the Quarterly Draws and you opt out, we will use reasonable measures to remove you from that Quarterly Draw. If we cannot remove you from that Quarterly Draw for reasons beyond our reasonable control, you will be unsubscribed from the following Quarterly Draw. If you are a winner, you do not need to accept the prize.
8. By participating in the Prize Draw you are deemed to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.

The Prize Draw and Quarterly Draws

9. The Prize Draw is made up of four quarterly prize draws which shall take place on the following dates: 30 July, 31 October, 31 January, 30 April. Each of these shall be known as a “Quarterly Draw”. Where these dates fall on a non-working day (such as a weekend or bank holiday) the Quarterly Draw will take place on or around the next available working day.
10. The Prize Draw shall continue until further notice. We reserve the right to withdraw the Prize Draw at any point by providing reasonable notice to you.
11. Each Qualifying Member who participates in the Prize Draw shall be limited to one entry for each Quarterly Draw.

Prizes

12. For each Quarterly Draw, there will be a total of 400 prizes available. Winners will have the opportunity to select their choice of one of the following:
    a) a one-night luxury hotel stay for two people (including breakfast); or
    b) a luxury afternoon tea for two people.
    Please note prizes will need to be selected from a pre-determined list based on availability.
13. The prizes and the number of prizes for each Quarterly Draw are subject to change. Where the prizes and number of prizes available change, we will provide this information on the Member Benefits webpage prior to the next Quarterly Draw. 

Additional information on prizes

14. Winners will also be subject to any additional terms and conditions applicable to the prize, prize provider and terms and conditions notified to you by our Fulfilment Partners (e.g. when prizes need to claimed or used by). Our Fulfilment Partners’ details are shown in condition 18.
15. Where necessary for reasons beyond our control, we reserve the right to substitute another prize of similar value. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
16. Winners will be responsible for any costs and expenses (e.g. travel) involved in taking up the prize which aren’t expressly included in the prize selected.

How do we administer the Prize Draw? 

17. The prizes for the Prize Draw are awarded in accordance with the laws of chance. The winners of each Quarterly Draw will be the first 400 entrants randomly selected from all Qualifying Members participating in the Prize Draw.
18. To fulfil and administer the prize selection process we will use our chosen Fulfilment Partners. Our Fulfilment Partners are The Marketing Lounge Partnership Limited (company number: 06467245) and MLP My Rewards Limited (company number: 08293983). References throughout these terms and conditions to “Fulfilment Partners” shall mean the companies stated in this condition 18.
19. Our Fulfilment Partners will notify the winners by email or post within 28 days of the Quarterly Draw taking place.  If a winner does not respond within 28 days, the prize will be forfeited. Where the winner does not respond or where a winner has taken up a prize but not used it within any stated time period communicated to them, then we will not re-award the prize to another individual.
20. Winners will need to respond and choose their prize within the time period notified to them by our Fulfilment Partners.
21. Dependent on the prize selected, the winners will have the option (subject to availability and any restrictions from the prize provider) to select what date they wish to use their prize.
22. Limited details of the winner(s) (limited to name and county) may be obtained by writing to us at Wesleyan Assurance Society, Colmore Circus, Birmingham, B4 6AR. 

General terms and conditions

23. This Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media channels or providers of the prize.
24. The outcome of the Prize Draw is final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
25. None of our group companies or any of their agents or distributors (including our Fulfilment Partners) will in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any losses or damages occurring as a result of you participating in the Prize Draw or taking up the prize except liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
26. We reserve the right to cancel, suspend or amend the Prize Draw due to reasons outside of our reasonable control. This includes updating these terms and conditions to make them clearer, fairer or to correct mistakes. 27. These terms and conditions apply in addition to the terms and conditions of your policy or other product with the Society and do not change those terms and conditions.
28. By participating in this Prize Draw, you agree to your personal information being used to process your entry and for participation in the Prize Draw in accordance with these terms and conditions. You also acknowledge and agree that, if you are a winner, we shall share your limited personal information (name, address and email address) with our Fulfilment Partners. Your limited personal details may also be shared with the provider of the prize. 29. You agree that if you provide to us any photographs or video images in connection with this Prize Draw that you licence such imagery to us for purposes connected with this Prize Draw including displaying them on our social media and/or website. You must ensure that you inform any people included in such imagery that such material may be used for the purposes of this Prize Draw and as set out in this condition 29 and you will obtain their consent.
30. This Prize Draw will be governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
