Wesleyan Foundation Community Grants

2026 nominations are now closed.

Supporting grassroots charities

Since 2017, the Wesleyan Foundation’s Community Grants Programme has been empowering grassroots charities (with an annual income of under £500,000) across the UK to deliver lifechanging support.

Our donations have supported a diverse range of charities, causes, and community issues. These have ranged from improving mental health, empowering people with disabilities, supporting families through bereavement, and strengthening communities facing cost-of-living challenges through practical, lifechanging services.

Have your say

We want to support the grassroots charities that mean the most to our customers and colleagues. We want to hear from you - our members and colleagues. Tell us about a charity that's close to your heart before 5th April 2026, and they could receive a grant of up to £5,000 this summer.

We're looking for charitable organisations that matter to you. Your nominated charity must meet one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals listed below to be eligible for support.

Sustainable Development Goals

Nominations for our community grants must be for charities that meet one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The goals are a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet. Of the 17 global goals, we've identified five that our business is best placed to support:

Health and wellbeing

Do you know a charity that promotes wellbeing for all and makes sure people live healthily?

Quality education

Does your chosen charity promote lifelong opportunities through inclusive and equitable education?

Gender equality

Aware of an organisation that seeks to empower all women and girls and achieve gender equality?

Reduced inequalities

Does your chosen organisation work to reduce inequality within and among communities?

Climate action

Have you found a charity that’s taking urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts?
