We know the drill when it comes to insurance

When you’re busy managing a dental practice, the last thing you want to think about is searching and comparing insurance.

Rather than bracing yourself for a time-consuming renewal, Wesleyan Financial Services will find and compare policies from our panel of trusted dental insurers, including Aviva, Allianz, Covea and Travelers.

Your policy will be tailored to the needs of your practice, and we’ll negotiate the right terms for you.

If you ever need to make a claim, or just want to discuss your changing insurance needs, our UK-based insurance specialists will be on hand to help.

What's covered?

No two practices are the same, which is why our consultants are on hand to offer a range of policy options. You can tailor your cover to only insure what your dental practice needs, including options for:

  • Accidental damage to buildings and contents
  • Protection against one-off and unintentional incidents like spillages and breakages.

  • Equipment breakdown
  • Including cover for autoclaves and vaccines.

  • Loss of income
  • Cover for loss of income and additional expenses for up to 24 months. Protect your income if your business has to close or is damaged (caused by insured events).

  • Legal expenses
  • Cover up to £50,000 for employment disputes, legal defence, contract disputes, tax protection and more.

  • Employers' liability
  • Up to £10m limit of indemnity.

  • Acts of terrorism
  • Get cover for damage to your practice or a loss of income by an act of terrorism.

  • Practice group policies
  • Get cover for all your dental practices, no matter how many you have.

What's not covered?

Practice insurance can’t cover everything. Here’s what isn’t included:

  • Normal deterioration of buildings and contents
  • Wear and tear, gradual deterioration, vermin, rust, damp or mildew.

  • Business interruption
  • Loss of income from forced closure due to national and international government actions.

  • Computer breakdown
  • Loss, destruction or damage to any computer equipment caused by malicious activity, hacking, viruses or similar mechanisms. For this cover, you may need cyber insurance.

Additional cover

Take your cover to the next level (at an additional cost) with:

Excess protection

If you need to make a claim on your insurance policy, you can claim your excess back following its successful settlement. You can choose the limit of your cover from £250 to £2,500.

Commercial emergency assistance

If you need a little extra help in case of an emergency, this cover offers a number of benefits including:

  • Up to £1000 for parts and labour from an approved tradesman
  • 24/7 emergency helpline available all year round
  • Plumbing and burst pipe cover
  • Cover for drainage problems, electrical breakdown, broken or damaged window

Income protection

Alongside your dental insurance, you may want to consider income protection. Designed to dovetail with your sick pay scheme, income protection keeps the money coming in when you’re off work due to ill health.

  • Tailored to the needs of doctors and dentists
  • Receive a monthly income from when your sick pay ends
  • Access free healthcare and support services to get you back to work sooner
  • Adapt your protection plan as you progress through your career
