Wesleyan Bank named dual finalist in NACFB Awards

Wesleyan Bank shortlisted in the Specialist Lender and Patron of the Year categories
.
Wesleyan Bank has been named as a finalist in two categories of the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) 2019 awards.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Park Plaza Westminster, London on 28th November 2019.

Now in their sixth year, the NACFB's annual awards is one of the most acclaimed events in the UK commercial finance calendar, bringing together highly regarded lenders and brokers to acknowledge and celebrate the successes of their collaboration.

The award winners will be determined based on the votes directly submitted by NACFB members.

Wesleyan Bank has been shortlisted in the 'Specialist Lender of the Year' category for its bespoke cash flow product for the renewable heat sector, RHI Financing.

The solution effectively provides advanced payment for accredited Renewable Heat Incentive projects and has been tailored for businesses running biomass, anaerobic digestion and biogas facilities who want to invest in sustainable technology to comply with the Government's Green Energy strategy.

In addition, Wesleyan Bank is a finalist in the NACFB's inaugural 'Patron of the Year' category.

The acknowledgement from the NACFB comes on the back of Wesleyan Bank significantly expanding its Broker proposition and wholesale offering in 2019.

The specialist commercial finance provider has doubled the size of its dedicated team of Broker Account Managers to enhance its service offering and launched a number of new solutions including staged payments, Block Discounting and RHI Financing.

According to the latest figures released by the Financing and Leasing Association (FLA), the UK asset finance market has grown by 7% in 2019 thus far.

This has been reflected by Wesleyan Bank recently approving its largest deal to date - a multi-million sub-hire transaction to enable a leading plant hire and machinery firm to invest in over 50 new assets to drive its growth strategy.

Richard Baker, Head of Broker Sales, at Wesleyan Bank comments, "2019 has been an outstanding year which has seen Wesleyan Bank fully establish our Broker division. I'd like to thank our growing partner network for their role in this success which has also led to us being shortlisted for two prestigious NACFB awards."
