We're here to help - Covid19 update

I am sure you will agree when I say that the last week or so has been an extraordinary period for us all. I know that, like all of us here at Wesleyan, many of you are concerned about the impact of COVID-19.

At this time, our primary focus is of course the health and wellbeing of one another, including our colleagues, customers and loved ones. However at Wesleyan it is second nature to be thinking about your finances and we recognise this will still be a consideration for many of you.

I want to keep you updated on the steps we are taking as a business to ensure we can continue to support you, our valued customers, as we have done for more than 175 years and reassure you that we remain fully operational to provide advice and support as required.

We're still here to support you

We have taken all the necessary steps to ensure we can continue to support you, both with servicing your existing products with us, and with providing the financial advice you may need:

  • Wesleyan Financial Services Consultants remain available for personal appointments and will discuss how best to conduct that meeting to look after you, themselves and both your families
  • Where possible, we're making greater use of phone and video to support you remotely. The quality of the advice you will receive will not be impacted
  • Our Customer Contact Centre is available via email at mywesleyancrc@wesleyan.co.uk, Live Chat and on 0800 107 3460 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
  • Our colleagues are able to work from remote locations as necessary, using our secure and tested technology.

Securing your financial future

Last week I shared an important message of reassurance to our investment customers as a result of the volatility in financial markets.

As I said then, Wesleyan's financial strength remains one of the highest in the industry, meaning we have capital reserves significantly above those required of us by the regulator.
Therefore we are in a better position when faced with equity market volatility. I asked our Director of Investments to tell you more about what we are doing to create brighter financial futures for all of our customers. You can watch Martin's video here.

Rest assured, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and remain focused on doing all we can to meet all your financial needs. Remember, your local Wesleyan Financial Services Consultant is available for you, so please do not hesitate to get in touch with them.

We will continue to provide updates for customers in the weeks ahead but to protect your inboxes we will do so via our website, Frequently Asked Questions and social media channels below unless we deem it to be critical.

Thank you for your continued trust and support for Wesleyan. We look forward to supporting you through this challenging period.
