Wesleyan Facebook Electives Blog Competition 2018


We're offering you the chance to win £100 worth of Amazon vouchers and up to £500 of Love2shop vouchers.  

For your chance to win, simply 'like' our Facebook page and submit one blog post entry, approximately 400 words or a vlog post no longer than 3 minutes long, sharing with us where you're planning on going on your elective , what you're planning to do and why?  

*Terms and Conditions

1. To be entered into the competition, entrants must be a UK resident, over the age of 18 and will be going on their Elective in 2018.
2. Only one entry per Facebook profile is permitted, for each elective blog/vlog competition.
3. To enter the competition, each participant must follow (like) Wesleyan's facebook page and submit their blog or vlog post either here or email to electives@wesleyan.co.uk
4. The introductory blog posts should be no longer than 400 words and you can include photographs or images.
The vlog should be no longer than 3 minutes.  
5. When creating the vlog, it is recommended that you use the highest image quality setting your camera or mobile can achieve.
6. vlog should be no longer than 3 minutes. Entries over 3 minutes long will not be considered.
7.  Blog post over 400 word will not be considered
8. By entering this competition, entrants confirm that the blog posts they submit is their own work and that they own the copyright for it.
9. Closing Date is 31 March 2018 at midnight.
10. By entering the competition, you are granting permission for the blog/vlog and any images to be used by Wesleyan Assurance Society online at www.wesleyan.co.uk. You must be the author / copyright holder of any content provided.  Entrants will be credited if their content is used. 
11.  Only one entry per Facebook profile is permitted.
12. Entrants will be judged by a panel of judges and up to ten winners will be selected that are the most engaging and best convey their creativity and enthusiasm.
13. If your blog/vlog post is published, you will receive £100 Amazon vouchers and you may be invited to write more blog/vlog posts about your elective.  There can be more than one winner and if you who are invited to write more blog posts about your elective experience, for each blog post written, you will receive £100 Love2shop vouchers (up to a maximum £500 Love2shop vouchers).    
14. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. You are providing your information to Wesleyan Assurance Society and not to Facebook.
15.  No purchase is necessary.
16.  Wesleyan Assurance Society reserves the right to substitute another prize of similar value (no cash alternative).
17. No alternative prize is available.
18. The prize cannot be transferable to another person.
19. Employees (and their immediate families) of Wesleyan Assurance Society, its agents and anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible.
20. Entrant's details, answers, and photographs may be used for publicity purposes and on the Wesleyan Assurance Society Facebook page.
21. We will contact you to arrange a convenient time for delivery of the prize.
22. If the winner does not come forward to claim their prize after one calendar month, an alternative winner will be selected.
23. The winner's name may be obtained after this date by writing to the promoter: Wesleyan Assurance Society, Marketing Dept, Colmore Circus, Birmingham B4 6AR.
24. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
