Why and when you need to register
When we work with a trustee, we need proof that the trust has been correctly registered with the Trustee Registration Service (TRS). This is in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering Regulation.
We’ll need to see the Proof of Registration (PoR) document. This should be no more than two years old. All the information in the document must be up to date and reflect any changes to the beneficial ownership.
How to get your Proof of Registration
If you’re the lead trustee, you can download a copy of the PoR document from the trust’s TRS account.
