Wesleyan Financial Services is proud to offer financial advice to the people of London. Through our network of over 250 Specialist Financial Advisers, we’re creating brighter financial futures across the capital and beyond.

How we can help

We offer financial planning support for people at every life stage. Whether you’re looking to do more with your money or protect the things that matter most, we can advise you every step of the way.

You can speak to your local adviser via video call or face-to-face. Through our no-obligation meetings, we can help you:

  • Create a bespoke plan to reach your financial goals
  • Build your pension pot and plan for your retirement
  • Protect your income if you need to take unexpected leave
  • Start investing your cash or business earnings
  • Find the right mortgage for your new or current home
  • Insure your home, car, travel plans and more
Mortgages

Take the stress out of finding a mortgage. We can find you the right deal for your home, whether you’re looking to step on the property ladder or remortgage. We can also handle the mortgage application on your behalf, giving you more time to focus on your move.

We cover:

  • First-time buyers
  • Moving home
  • Remortgaging
  • Buy-to-let mortgages

Your mortgage is secured on your home. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments. Please note that most buy-to-let mortgages are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Insurance

Insurance offers peace of mind that the things you worked hard for are protected. When you’re ready to take out a new policy, we can find you cover that’s tailored to your needs.

For example, we offer:

  • Income protection
  • Mortgage protection
  • Life assurance
  • Personal insurance (including home, car, travel)
  • Commercial insurance (including GP surgery, dental practice, office)
Investments

Invest for your financial future with Wesleyan Group’s range of ISAs and investment plans. Managed by an award-winning team, the diversified funds on offer give you the chance to do more with your money.

Discover:

  • ISAs
  • Investment plans
  • Unit Trusts
  • Commercial investments

Bear in mind that the value of investments can go down as well as up and you may get back less than you invest.

Retirement

We all dream of the day we can retire. Get a head start on your retirement planning with personalised advice on your pension, retirement income and more.

Talk to us about:

  • Starting a pension and building your pot
  • Ways to take your pension (including annuities and flexi-access drawdown)
  • Retirement planning
  • Inheritance tax & estate planning

Please bear in mind that advice in relation to inheritance tax planning is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Frequently asked questions

  • What can I expect from a meeting with a Specialist Financial Adviser?

When you request a detailed conversation about your finances, a Specialist Financial Adviser from Wesleyan Financial Services will usually speak with you via video call. Alternatively, they can meet with you in person in the comfort of your own home.

During the meeting, your Specialist Financial Adviser will look at your financial situation as a whole, and discuss your specific goals, priorities or concerns.

  • Is the advice free?

The meeting itself is on a no obligation basis. If you do choose to take out a Wesleyan financial product as a result, there’ll be an initial advice fee and often ongoing management charges to pay. While our Specialist Financial Advisers will often make recommendations, there’s no obligation to take out any Wesleyan products or services.

  • What should I prepare ahead of the meeting?

To make the most of your time with your Specialist Financial Adviser, it can be handy to have your questions ready, as well as any information or documents relating to your finances (such as savings or investment details).

You may also be asked to complete a ‘Financial Outline’ ahead of the session. This enables you to tell your Adviser about your current circumstances and future goals, so they can prepare an appointment tailored to you.

If you choose not to complete the Financial Outline in advance, you’ll need to do it as part of your appointment.

  • How long does the meeting last?

An initial meeting with a Specialist Financial Adviser will typically last around one hour. However, this does depend on the complexity of your circumstances.

  • How soon will I be able to get a meeting?

You won’t have to wait long at all. Contact us today and we should be able to get you an appointment with a Specialist Financial Adviser within the next ten days.
